Jeffrey A. DeLong
Jeffrey A. DeLong is a partner at Lawinger, DeLong & Associates, and LLC. Prior to becoming a partner in the firm, he was an associate with Lawinger Law Office since 2006. After law school, he was an associate attorney at the civil litigation defense firm of Chilton, Yambert, Porter & Young, working primarily out of their Joliet office. During this time, Mr. DeLong gained valuable experience dealing with personal injury cases from the defense perspective. He has appeared in courts throughout the State of Illinois representing his clients.
Jeffrey A. DeLong attended Michigan State University Law School. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree with Magna Cum Laude honors. Mr. DeLong was selected into the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Program. He received a certificate for his concentration in trial practice upon completion of this prestigious program. During his time in law school, Mr. DeLong also completed an internship at the Washtenaw County Public Defenders Office in Ann Arbor, Michigan. During this internship, he was involved in a high profile murder trial. Mr. DeLong also worked as a law clerk at the civil litigation firm of Loomis, Ewert, Parsley, Davis & Gotting, P.C., in Lansing, Michigan. Mr. DeLong was elected a member of the Moot Court Board and participated on the TYLA Trial Team Competition.
Mr. DeLong primarily practices in personal injury, traffic, DUI, criminal, family, child custody, visitation, child support, order of protections, civil appeals, and workers compensation.
